"The home was beautifully furnished, lots of room, two areas outside to relax and eat. The property is really well positioned to access some wonderful place of interest. The Dordogne is at the rear and the home overlooks the river. The home has everything you would need which was great."

"It was great to meet the hosts Sylvie & Bruno upon our arrival. The home was beautifully furnished and immaculately clean. The location was perfect - 45 min from Bordeaux and 15 min from St. Emilion, Libourne, etc. The bakery and market were a 5 min walk. Loved the town of Branne which borders Grezillac. We were so happy to end our month in France at this great place and the memories it made."
"Upon arrival I was asked to sign an agreement not to stream or download anything on their wifi. I was surprised at this since it wasn't mentioned in booking.com description. Since we were accustomed to unlimited data plans in the U.S. we found this very restrictive - it meant not watching news clips or movies. We explained this to the hosts and they were understanding and said they would change that rule - I assume by increasing their data plan. We speak only English and the TV was only French. The only other negative was mosquitos."

Wunderschön angelegter Garten, direkt am Fluss und sehr ruhig, aber fußläufig ins (kleine) Zentrum von Branne mit Bäckerei, Käseladen, Fleischerei, Supermarkt, Restaurant (gehoben) und Bus nach Bordeaux. Bäder, Küche, Sitzbereiche und Fenster modernisiert, ansonsten originale Einrichtung der früheren Bewohner - Bilder, Souvenirs, Sammlungen, Geschirr … wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein besonderer Ort."
"Da es ein altes Sandsteinhaus ist, ist es innen recht kühl - sicherlich im Sommer ein Plus. Im Herbst lieber Hausschuhe mitnehmen!"
"Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par les hôtes. Nous avons adoré cette maison accueillante avec une fabuleuse vue sur la rivière et le mascaret. Un jardin très accueillant nous a permis de vivre des moments en famille très agréables. Tout le confort (lave-linge, lave-vaisselle, barbecue, télé connectée, wifi..) pour un séjour parfait. Une maison meublée avec des objets anciens, des photos de la région, des tableaux... Nous avons tout aimé. Merci à vous."

"Notre séjour était simplement parfait. La maison est si belle, grande, familiale, décorée par une multitude de détails, d'objets. On a adoré. En plus, nos hôtes étaient gentils, ponctuels, généreux et amicaux. Les jardins sont superbes, très bien entretenus. Voir la Dordogne à chaque instant, le lever des montgolfières à l'aube, les oiseaux sans cesse, un bonheur."

"I highly recommend a stay in this truly exceptional French country house. The welcoming hosts greeted us with a bottle of wine and provided excellent restaurant recommendations. The house was extremely well equipped for a comfortable stay, with copious cookware and beautiful serving dishes. The property provided an excellent base for touring the region (Bordeaux, Arcachon beaches, St. Emilion vineyards, prehistoric caves in Dordogne, and Cognac). The property's front and back gardens are very charming, with the back offering fantastic views of the Dordogne River with its mesmerizing tides. The village has a wonderful restaurant, supermarket, and first rate bakery all within walking distance."

"Wer diesem charmanten Haus keine 10 gibt, den verstehe ich nicht. Das wunderbare Haus mit zwei Gärten und der ausgestatteten Küche lässt keine Wünsche übrig, es fehlt an nichts. Supermarkt ist zu Fuß erreichbar. Auch die Lage passt, 30 Minuten nach Bordeaux, 10 Minuten nach Saint Emilion. Tagesausflüge ans Meer und bis San Sebastián sind möglich. Die Gastgeber sind wunderbar."

"L'emplacement de cette bâtisse restaurée, en hauteur, est idéal par rapport à l'environnement. Dans ce logement spacieux, et lumineux, on se sent en famille, dès l'accueil et l'entrée dans les lieux. Tout a été fait et organisé pour que rien ne manque pendant le séjour. La mise à disposition du petit déjeuner (une grande corbeille remplie de friandises, thé, petits gâteaux et quelques dosettes de café), en cadeau de bienvenue, a été une délicate attention, très appréciée. Nous serions heureux de pouvoir revenir dans cet endroit magique."

"Piccolo appartamento al piano di sotto di quello del proprietario. Lui è stato super gentile e amichevole, parla inglese tranquillamente, ci ha tenuto i bagagli dopo il check-in per non portarceli dietro l'ultimo giorno. La zona è deliziosa, tranquillissima, è un quartiere residenziale che pare uscito da un libro di fiabe. L'appartamento si vede che è appena ristrutturato, è tutto nuovo, ed è fornito di tutto il necessario incluso bollitore e microonde. Ci hanno lasciato anche delle bustine di the per la colazione e dei cioccolatini. Mi sono trovata benissimo e se dovrò passare di nuovo in zona ci tornerò!"

"Io e mio marito abbiamo soggiornato 4 notti in questo studio e abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo la gentilezza, l accoglienza, la disponibilità dei proprietari che ci hanno accolto con un calore che raramente si incontra. Lo studio è piccolo ma ha davvero tutto il necessario per un soggiorno comodo con frigorifero, lavatrice e tutte le stoviglie necessarie. L arredamento è molto curato, elegante e pulitissimo. La parte più bella è la terrazza arredata con tutto il necessario per viverla comodamente dal tavolo ai lettini all angolo aperitivo. Siamo stati davvero benissimo. Molto consigliato. Merci 😊"
