"Though I arrived late, on a wet and miserable night, (the weather was awful: torrential rain throughout a 8 hour drive from northern Spain), there was a warm welcome at Madelon IV, & the hostess went out of her way to make me feel welcome."

"The hosts were great. Nothing was too much trouble. They provided lots of local information about where to eat and what we could do in the area. The rooms were very large for France. The hotel had a friendly vibe and felt like the locals used it as their local as well as tourists. Nice breakfast - they asked us what we wanted and were happy to prepare eggs for us."

"Liked · The best thing about our stay at Madelon IV were not only the views but the treatwith the owners, who were very accesible and nice to talk to. Any sort of problem or doubt we had, you could reach them and have it solved. In addition, the town was beautiful."
