"Good welcome after long journey. Liked the Le Mans car racing history theme throughout the hotel. Rustic setting with a characterful, gemütlich style like a chalet/ woodland theme. Free parking outside is available. When I contacted the hotel they booked us a table in the restaurant the night we arrived. The bar was well stocked to cater for all tastes. Staff are very friendly. Breakfast was ok, but continental only. It was faffy with trays and not having tables set as u had to collect all crockery & cutlery and little space to balance your tray. Although products offered were of a great standard. In the room, there were complimentary bottles of water on arrival and a kettle and cups to make a drink in the room."

"Hotel restaurant French cuisine beautifully presented, they tried to accommodate my lactose intolerance, but it just reduced the options on the menu considerably. Meal seemed expensive for what we had. I informed the hotel before our stay about my lactose intolerance asking about alternative milk options for breakfast and I was disappointed with the response that they didn't cater for it. As other hotels being informed in advance, have made a plant based option available so I could have a coffee with my breakfast."

"Rooms are somewhat small and bathroom somewhat dated and not very warm for end of October ‘24. However room very clean with comfortable bedding & facilities including a balcony. A soft pillow option would be nice."
