"Beautifully renovated former wine press with everything we needed for our stay. Claire & Robert were super hosts, & nothing was too much trouble. Very knowledgeable about the Loire & offered great advice on day trips, local restaurants, supermarkets etc. We hope to return someday."

"The hosts, Claire, Robert and Colin the Collie were very welcoming and really looked after us. We arrived after a long drive through France to a lovely selection of cheeses in the fridge and homemade jam and cake. It was lovely to sit outside in the evening sunshine and drink wine, eat cheese and play some board games. The gite is surrounded by gorgeous fields and has access to lots of different activities, perfect for a family holiday with a 7 year old. We enjoyed the Aquascope water park, the fortress in Chinon, Chateau Rival and the French equivalent of ‘Go Ape’. The cottage has everything you need in it for a comfortable stay."

Idéal pour se reposer et visiter la région (Futuroscope, Puy du Fou, châteaux de la Loire, musée Rabelais...) Claire et Robert sont des hôtes très prévenants (merci pour le succulent cake au citron) et disponibles. On recommande."

"De locatie was idyllisch, zeer rustig en aangenaam. Heel fijne en sympathieke gastvrouw en gastheer. We kregen heel veel typs, weetjes en uitleg over bezienswaardigheden in de streek. Zeer aangenaam; Het zembad was zeker een pluspunt."

"L'appartamento si trova nel vecchio quartiere Panier vicino alla Vieille Charitè. Si gode una vista parziale mare in quanto i tetti di fronte coprono il panorama. Si vede la cupola della Cattedrale Major. I servizi sono buoni ma le scale per raggiungere l'appartamento sono impervie se si soffre di dolori alle articolazioni. Tutto sommato il soggiorno è stato piacevole. La sera il quartiere dove si trova l'appartamento è semi deserto. I locali chiudono molto presto."
"Ottima posizione, comoda ai ristoranti e alle spiagge (tutte pubbliche), esattamente di fianco ad un supermercato e un distributore di carburante. Molto facile da raggiungere e molto bello: le camere sono molto tradizionali ma hanno balconi enormi con vista panoramica"

"Location in un piccolo villaggio rurale molto carino e tranquillo vicino comunque a Huelgoat. Molto gentile e disponibile la proprietaria ed il suo amico. Ogni mattina pane appena sfornato."
"An excellent property for a weekend for just to "get away from it all" There is a private (small) salt water swimming pool which the guests can use from 8 am until 6 pm, a barbecue, and barbecue area, and the Saline Royale at d'Arc-et-Senans is five minutes (by car) away. The excellent breakfast (as an extra in cash) is local cheeses and hams with home made jams and preserves. and is well worth the money. The owner, and the housekeeper who met us, had no English, but were really friendly and with the aid of "Google Translate" were able to communicate everything we needed to know. Local telecoms is marginal, but Wi-Fi in the property is fine. There are two restaurants nearby (booking essential) and a super little pizzeria in the nearby village."
