The accommodation was spacious, and thoughtfully equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were helpful, and made us feel genuinely welcome. We especially appreciated the peaceful setting, which gave us a real sense of countryside calm, while still being close to Alençon for shops and restaurants. Excellent value for money, with lovely outdoor space and easy parking. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a restful, well-run base in Normandy"

"Really a great location in the countryside, superb accommodation, full cottage to ourselves in the grounds of the main house. Very peaceful and quiet. Dog friendly and plenty of room for her to run."

"Garden was poorly maintained. No instructions for the fire, it was a new sort of pellet burner that I had not seen/used before, so we had no heating through the night. We did meet the host and he was great. No English spoken though. There was a small room next to us that we did not know was another accommodation until our dog barked and we investigated and found we had neighbours...very unusual set up."

"Nice big rooms, beds fine, owner friendly and discreet. Great friendly dog. Easy enough to find with satnav. Heating worked, shower worked. Park outside and eat outside (though weather not suitable when there).Very good price for the amount of accomodation and faciities. Very quiet so slept well. No local restaurants (that I could find) but Alencon not far away with several."

"In no way should the breakfast be described as exceptional. Supermarket produce, presented imaginitively but still not high quality and not generous. I nespresso pod and one 'raw' egg (ok presumably from nearby hens and fresh) each bread products reheated.. I know food prices in France are high but not sure it was worth 11 euros. Small seperate WC with loose bowl right next to main door and kitchen-slightly worried about hygene and privacy issues."

"Everything was excellent! Comfortable, everything we needed, lovely living room and bedroom with 2 double beds which was a bonus Lovely position, pear trees, chickens roaming, , really nice ."

"Excellent breakfast option. Very good value for money, highly recommended. Tidiane was a wonderful host. Our dog and their's played happily in the large garden. The house was clean, beautifully, tastefully decorated and the kitchen was well equipped ."
