"La casa, il giardino fantastico e gli animali (cani,gatti,galline,uccellini).La piscina anche se non l'abbiamo utilizzata per il maltempo. ma soprattutto i padroni di casa che sono persone eccezionali."

"The house is situated in lovely countryside. Eric and his lovely wife were very welcoming and Eric's home made jam made from fruits of their garden was some of the best I have had especially his 'secret' one!"

"Eric and Kathy are wonderful hosts. We arrived as guests and left as friends, after sharing food, wine and engaging conversations. We truly hope they will visit us in Canada so we can return their hospitality. Breakfast was great with fresh bread every day, homemade preserves, crepes, yogurt, cheese, meats etc. The property is located in a rural area on the Cher River, opposite the village of Villandry, which takes approximately 10 minutes to drive to. There aren't a lot of restaurant choices in the village, but we had good meals at the Cheval Rouge and especially at L'Etape Gourmand, both recommended by our hosts."

"The hosts are friendly and lovely people and the property is very beautiful. Eric has created a dream garden over 30 years with lots of big trees, lawns, an orchard, potager and formal beds. It is stunning. We had a fabulous French breakfast together of fresh croissants, baguettes and jams with coffee before setting off to visit nearby Villandry. Cathy and Eric made us very welcome and felt like old friends."
