"The best breakfast we’ve ever had on our holidays. Superb, home made yoghurts, jams and bread. A variety of fresh fruit every morning and a different home made cake each day too. The accommodation was wonderful, very comfortable, very spacious and immaculately clean. What an amazing stay! The hosts, Brigitte and Jacques, were wonderful, very friendly and helpful."

"Very quiet place, wonderful rest, and an ideal starting point for sightseeing. The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom clean and spacious. The pool is a great addition, we were happy to relax there after sightseeing. Wonderful, discreet hosts Brigitte and Jacques, very willing to suggest what is worth seeing, serving a very tasty breakfast (delicious homemade bread, jams, yogurt and cookies). Thank you very much! We hope to return to the wonderful La Sembelie."

"It is on a busy road which affects sitting outside but good double glazing makes it quiet inside. Wifi was weak. Only one chair to sit inside - unless you use one of the outside chairs too."

"Beautiful place with very kind owners, highly recommend. There is a good pizza place and a small market a very short distance away. This was our first time staying on this end of Sarlat, which is closer to the wonderful towns of La- Rogue, Beynac and Domme."
