"Un piccolo gioiello nel centro storico di Amboise, a 2 minuti a piedi dal castello reale, ma comunque in un vicolo tranquillo e silenzioso. Arredata con gusto, curata nei minimi dettagli e fornita di tutto il necessario. Proprietari molto gentili ed ospitali. Parcheggio gratuito a circa 200 metri."

"The location was exceptional. It was right in the middle of things, but set back so there was no noise at all. The unit is nice - very comfortable. Nice yard - it feels like you have a lot of space around you. I was given very clear instructions beforehand on how to get into the unit. Close to many restaurants and a grocery store. Bakery on the corner for breakfast pastries. **side note - I was able to get an Uber on weekends but they do not run during the week. The train station is a 1.3km / 20 minute walk"

"While I liked the unit, you need to be aware of the lay out. The 2 bedrooms are up a VERY steep set of stairs. Going up was fine but I was uncomfortable coming down. The only bathroom is downstairs. The bedrooms are adjacent to each other and you must walk through one to get to the other. I was given one small roll of toilet paper and when I asked if there was another, I was told that that was my " starter kit " and I had to go out to the grocery store to buy more."

"Location is phenomenal and the house is really clean and nice. Communication was excellent. A wonderful stay. Will be back one day."

"I didn't like that the bed wasn't made. I have never booked an accommodation through booking.com where I had to put on the bed linens, duvet etc by myself. And there were 4 beds. There was a washing machine but no washing powder/ detergent. No soap/ shampoo. The staircase is also very steep so have to be careful if you bring toddlers/ young kids. The accommodation is also located on a pedestrian street, which means you can't park your car and unload your luggages first. As we had 4 luggages and 2 young kids, we managed to park on the main Street, which was parallel to the accommodation (free parking 1 hour), to unload our luggages first before we went to find the free parking."

"Not so good that you have to walk through one bedroom to get to the other bedroom which would work for a family with children but it’s more intrusive when it’s two couples."

"The steps to the bedrooms are very steep and we found it difficult to go up and down especially at night without a proper bannister. I have severe osteoarthritis so this was a problem at night especially since there is no toilet upstairs."
