"The welcome was friendly and helpful without being overwhelming. The reception is full of antique cameras, a hobby of one of the family. The room was clean and up to date, but with lovely old school touches (the built in wardrobe had antique doors). Fantastic views across the valley. The food in the restaurant was superb, and excellent value for money. Breakfast was great, top quality ham and cheeses and unlimited coffee on tap. Overall the place has a really nourishing vibe, a haven of loveliness."
