"We had the most brilliant stay at Katy's Barn. The place was huge! Plenty of space for the three of us. Very comfy rooms, well equipped kitchen and a lovely back garden. It was so wonderfully quiet and peaceful, a real treat to have stayed. Katy was the best host we have ever encountered. She gave us guidance on how to get to the venue, suggestions of places to visit and always made sure we were alright. Katy has three sweet dogs which roam around from time to time so ideally you need to be comfortable with dogs."

"House is very well equipped and tastfully done. Garden area spacious, secluded, and peaceful. Location is convenient for the town and other surrounding villages with great restaurants and lovely walks. Also dog friendly."

"Nos encantaron los pueblos cercanos como Saint-Aulaye, Aubeterre, Saint Vincent Jalmoutiers, la abadía de Echourgnac, Pons, Cognac, Le Jemaye y su lago, la campiña y bosques de Dordoña, los precios, el ambiente familiar sin apenas turistas"

"Katy hat auf uns gewartet, hat uns sehr herzlich willkommen geheißen und uns zur Begrüßung eine Flasche Sekt geschenkt. Das war ein sehr nettes Ankommen"

"Wir haben keine Haustiere, daher bin ich es nicht gewohnt, dass es im Haus ein wenig nach Hund riecht. Aber wir haben uns überwiegend draußen aufgehalten, so dass das am Ende ein vernachlässigbarer Punkt war."

"L'alloggio si trova nella villetta dove abita l'host, con un proprio accesso indipendente. E' stato recentemente rinnovato, come da descrizione e foto. Molto piacevole la presenza delle due terrazze ad uso esclusivo. L'host ci ha accolto ed è stato disponibile a comunicare con noi ogni volta che si è reso necessario o anche solo per fornirci consigli ed indicazioni."

"We received a very warm welcome from Susie and Crawford on arrival, which made us feel at home straight away. The gîte itself was large, beautifully laid out, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our kids especially loved the pool and the pétanque area, which kept them entertained for hours. It’s in a lovely rural location, peaceful and relaxing, yet still close enough to explore the surrounding area. We had a wonderful week here and would happily return."
