"Una vecchia casa basca adibita ad Albergo. Il proprietario molto gentile ci ha dato la camera n 20 al piano per non farci fare le scale (non c’è ascensore) per un problema al ginocchio. La camera n 20 è veramente bella, grande con terrazzino. Arredata in stile antico. Sembrava (quasi) di essere in una delle stanze di Versailles."

"La struttura è molto bella, vicina al centro ed alla spiaggia..perfettamente inserita nel contesto della meravigliosa Hendaye. Dalla nostra camera si vedeva il mare..il risveglio davanti a quel panorama é stato bellissimo.. Parcheggio comodissimo davanti all'hotel"

"Be aware the hotel is on a hill and you will climb about 50 steps to the top floor, but they are considerably wider steps (both across and the tread part) than many other places we stayed at."

"Communication with Eric was excellent. We needed to change the dates of our visit and he couldn't have been more helpful. When we arrived we received a warm welcome and a room upgrade! The room was newly refurbished, spotless and cosy with a very comfortable bed, small but adequate new shower room. There was a small garden area which unfortunately we couldn't make use of due to the weather. Great for a couple of nights."

"There are no drink making facilities in the room - normal for a lot of European hotels. But we Brits do love our tea!"

"The location was good, and the standard was quite nice. Nice breakfast too, with very friendly staff."

"The room we had had recently been upgraded we were told, and you could see this. However, there were some snagging issues that could be addressed. The key to lock the room was very stiff, which with their permission, I eased off with WD40. The lights over the bed for bed side reading did not seem to have independent switches, meaning we had to have all lights on, just to read in bed. This could have been us not finding a switch, or it has not been fitted. The room could also benefit from some hooks. Hendaye was wonderful, as expected, and we could see some true communal attention had been expended in nice walks. The boardwalk around the headland over the water into town was exceptional. Vistas amazing over the river and moored up boats. Only sadly spoilt by copious graffiti to the very new installation funded by the EU and others. A real shame for the community. Not the fault of the hotel, but perhaps they and others and the community could come together to attend to this ruining scourge of Hendaye’s beauty. A scourge all over Europe sadly, requiring education and active involvement for all the suspected culprit groups. Good luck with this."
