"I have no idea for the price why the bad reviews. This isn’t a 5 star hotel and not trying to be either.Totally worth the money we paid. Staff were very nice and the location was perfect. Yes the hotel is dated and a bit shabby, and slightly run down, however it’s in the middle of beautiful vineyards and fields making the shabbiness totally fit in and make sense. If you want classic French and super cheap it’s perfect."

"Lovely few days with my friend attending a birthday celebration nearby. Staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. Likes our room, which had a main bed, plus mezzanine with additional beds. Pool is lovely and a great way to start the day. Had not realised we had breakfast included. It's buffet style and good."

"The hotel buildings and grounds are unique, interesting and beautiful. The rooms are clean, big and have all the amenities you could want. The breakfast is amazing and has a good variety of items to choose from. The staff are welcoming and helpful, especially the hotel manager who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable! I would definitely return to this hotel."
"The location of this hotel (like every other in the region) is quite secluded and taxis are hard to book. This is also part of its charm, but I'd recommend renting a car if you stay."

"Camera abbastanza pulita, ma letti comodi e dimensioni della stanza accettabili. Bagno "prefabbricato" ma con doccia comoda e con diverse nicchie. Check-in da farsi autonomamente (linee guida chiare). Posizione molto comoda per arrivare in centro, fast food difronte alla struttura, nelle vicinanze market e distributore."

"We also stayed here on our return travel so our remarks / comments are the same. Staff was very nice! At the reception desk they speak English as well. Room is good with a nice bed (2 single beds as requested). Breakfast was exceptionally good (for the experience I had in the past in other French hotels); fresh baked bread; eggs you can boil yourself; fresh juices; yoghurt; cheese; meat. All in all the breakfast buffet is not huge, but the quality is very good!"

"Family room was very generous, spa facilities were brilliant and the pool play area was great for young kids. Location was very good, close to town and on the slopes for easy ski-in-ski-out. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Would love to come back in the future. La Plagne in general is a great resort for families and beginner skiers."
