"Our room was spacious and clean with some original decor features, giving it a very individual feel. Breakfast was served in a beautifully appointed room downstairs. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming. We did not see any other members of staff during our visit."

"Our room was not very warm when we arrived but heated up quite efficiently when we put the heater on. It was out of season (February) but we were disappointed that neither the bar nor the restaurant was open. The hotel advertises spa facilities but these were available only at considerable additional cost."

"Only that in part it was unloved. For example the swimming pool was empty and dirty and car park was difficult to get to with many steps up to the hotel."

"Loved its old worldly charm . We had a room on the ground floor in the courtyard so no problem with managing suitcases. It was huge and nice and quiet. The view from the dining room was fantastic looking out over the valley below."
