"Amazing history! The owners were generous in sharing the history of the house, as well as the story of its restoration. Others have said this but it truly felt like we were staying in a museum, not just any B&B. And the owners took such great care of us, it felt like we were staying with extended family. Breakfasts were wonderful each morning, the grounds are so peaceful, and it was perfectly placed for our visits to WW1 battlefields. If you appreciate history, you should definitely stay here! You won’t regret it. We had a wonderful time ❤️"

"Le château de Couin est un site exceptionnel de cette région qui a été repris par des amoureux des vieilles pierres. Ils ont remis en route patiemment ce lieu chargé d'histoire dans le respect des contraintes imposées par les monuments historiques. Ils nous ont partagé les secrets de ce magnifique château purement 18eme. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié le petit déjeuner raffiné qui nous a fait découvrir les spécialités de la région et de notre hôtesse."
"La remise en état d'origine pour être conforme au cahier des charges des monuments historiques a été jusqu'à la taille du lit de la chambre que nous avons occupé et qui, de nos jours pourrait être un peu plus grand pour 2 personnes."
"This chateau is beautiful, historical and authentic, with kind and knowledgeable hosts. All furnishings are period antiques, including our working 19th century bathroom. Breakfast, served by the huge log fire, was excellent."

"Proprietari e personale molto gentili e premurosi. Colazione da hotel a 4 stelle, davvero ben assortita sia per quanto riguarda i dolci che il salato. Appena un prodotto si esauriva veniva subito fornito nuovamente, cosa che non capita sempre. Tutto buonissimo! Nulla da segnalare, lo raccomando caldamente!"

"Well it is a pretty affordable hotel. It is clean and comfortable. It is a hotel to get you through a night. It is meant to be for just sleeping. No ammenaties or anything, it is confortable and close to the pont d'Espagne so if you are there for hiking is good. Showers are clean, rooms are small but efficient. I mean if you are in the Pyrenees you are not there to stay in the hotel you go to be in Nature so the hotel is what you need. It is a place to sleep not more."
