"Our host is reconstructing this gem of chateux with love and care and also arranged everything we needed (even a dinner on Sunday in a nearby restaurant). The interiors are done very nicely, rooms and bathrooms are spacious, clean and suited for people with mobility issues. Nights are tranquil. Beware- Sundays and Mondays the majority of restaurants is closed in France. Also every day between 14.00- 19.00 it is hard to get meals in France."

"Christian heeft het kasteel eigenhandig weer opgebouwd, van bouwval tot het mooie kasteel dat het nu is, heel leuk om te zien dat iemand dat kan. Ik kon met 4 kinderen op een kamer, waarbij ik met kamer de ruimte eigenlijk te kort doe. Want het is zeer ruim en in de “kamer” was weer een ouder kamer. De kids hadden een hele mooie plek, er was een ruime luxe badkamer. De bedden waren heel lekker. Er was veel echt en origineel speelgoed voor de kinderen, geen plastic maar hout. Ik hou van deze details. Daarnaast ligt de locatie dicht langs de A71 richting het zuiden (of weer terug uiteraard), paar km van de snelweg, die je overigens in het geheel niet hoort."

"Cristian was a terrific host, welcoming our family of four as well as our two small dogs and making us very comfortable. We had a great time in the wonderful pool and also enjoyed dinner a short walk away at a place he recommended. All of our requests were responded to very quickly and satisfactorily. We were so glad that we found this place and look forward to coming back!"

"Had everything we needed, it was clean, lovely comfortable front room. We sat watching telly the first evening, could log into our prime account. There was coffee, tea, sugar, some cakes, washing up liquid, etc etc all things to make your stay easy when you first arrive. The shops were shut as it was a bank holiday - so it was very much appreciated."
