Chalet 1829

"The chalet is tastefully decorated and very well equipped for a family stay. You will find complete kitchen equippment there as well as washing and drying maschine, barbecue atc. You will be provided with complete bed and bath linen, kitchen towels, toilet paper etc. It is located in between Tignes/Val d´Isere and Les Arcs/La Plagne skiareas, both within 15 minutes drive reach. Just to note - the house is not isolated asi it looks on pictures, it stands next to the main road from Bourg St. Maurice to Tignes, betwee other chalets. The very close neighbouring chalet is under construction now. It was not an issue for us, as we did not stay in the house over daytime, we were skiing."

"The concierge did not bother to stop by on the arrival day to start the heating and water boiler, so we arrived late evening to a house with 13 degrees Celsius and no hot water. We had problems to start the stove on pellets and the electric radiators, as the main electric swich was shuting down all the time. The issue was resolved next day when the owner arrived to help us together with an electrician. He declared it was a very rare issue and reimbursed us with two bottles (of a very good) wine. The mattresses are quite far on the hard side."

"Everything was great. The apartment has two bathrooms and two toilets, perfect for a group of friends. The kitchen has everything and more for cooking! The host was always available. :) The location is great; if you have your own car, you can easily reach many ski resorts."

"A very chaacterful, well equipped, warm and comfortable chalet with everything we needed for 8 people! Very handy location on the valley road near to various different ski resorts (Ste Foy, Tignes, Les Arcs, La Rosiere, Val d'Isere). Lovely and warm. Great showers. Beautiful mountain decor! 2, maybe a 3rd parking space outside. Useful garage/storeroom for putting skis in overnight. We really enjoyed our stay!"

"The electricity was a little bit temperamental when we first arrived. We think that the system probably got overloaded when we first arrived with all the radiators being put on and trying to bring the chalet up to temperature. We found we couldnt use any other eletrical appliances that first evening such as the kettle, oven or microwave, without the circuit tripping. Once we'd found the tripswitch in the kitchen to reset, and as long as we had a torch to hand, we managed to reset and the electricity came back on. Maybe the caretaker who greets you, could put the heating on a short while before guests' arrival, in order to get radiators heating up in advance to avoid an electricity overload when guests arrive?"

"Chalet spacieux, bien équipé, très propre, bien situé à proximité des stations de Tignes, Ste Foy Tarentaise, la Rosière et les Arcs (via Villaroger). Un très agréable poêle à pellets et chauffage par le sol. Petites attentions du propriétaire à notre arrivée."

"L'emplacement était parfait avec parking pour les voitures... Lieu calme. Le chalet très fonctionnel, très propre,bien équipé pour 7 personnes, 2 salles de bain, 2 toilettes enfin tout était parfait..."

"Il manquait peut être un éclairage extérieur pour les soirées sur la terrasse !!! Sinon rien de négatif"
