"Extremely friendly welcome with helpful instructions. The accommodation was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly equipped. The bed was large and comfortable too. We spent one night here on our journey south and was pleased to find that the property was set in quiet peaceful surroundings close to the main route. Peggy our host was wonderful and exceptionally friendly. I couldn't rate our stay higher."

"De waanzinnige tuin met de verschillende terrasjes. De eigenaren waren zo ontzettend gastvrij en lief! We ervoeren zeer veel privacy en voelden ons heel erg welkom. Er was zelfs voor ons gekookt bij aankomst en voor ons en de kindjes was er allerlei lekkers, een warm bad!"

"De locatie is heerlijk en ligt midden in de rustige Chartreuse waar je fantastisch kunt wandelen. We werden heel warm ontvangen door Paul en Marjolein die de streek goed kennen en je met enthousiasme adviseren over activiteiten en bezienswaardigheden. Je kunt, met uitzondering van de donderdag, ook ‘s avonds bij hen dineren. Dat hebben wij alle dagen gedaan, want na een lange dag wandelen is het heel fijn om niet meer op pad te hoeven maar lekker bij te komen bij de open haard óf, als de zon schijnt, op het terras. Paul en Marjolein koken gezonde en afwisselende (ook vegetarische) drie-gangen-maaltijden met producten uit de streek. Ook het ontbijt is prima en meer dan volledig. Je voelt in alles hun liefde voor de mooie streek, en dat dragen ze graag over op hun gasten. Wij vonden het een kadootje om bij de Ancienne Ecole te verblijven, en komen er heel graag terug."
