The location is in the quiet town of San Gavini with both grocery store and good restaurants near by. It is also ideal for visiting Bavella. The host is friendly and helpful. "This is a great place to stay. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, the gîte has been beautifully renovated with a lot of care, and we loved getting fresh eggs from the chickens every morning. The nearby beaches are lovely, and the city La Rochelle (~ 50 minute drive) is well worth the visit (also, do visit the aquarium if you have kids!)."
