"The location in the historic centre of Cuenca was perfect, and the lobby and garden were absolutely beautiful Everywhere was so clean and the maids really cheerful Also the team on reception were so friendly and helpful We loved the quality and selection of food at breakfast The face masks and hot water bottles provided in the room were thoughtful touches"

"Overall it was fabulous, but only spoiled slightly by attention to small details being sometimes missing… for example all the handles on the kitchen cupboard doors in our suite came off in your hand when you opened them. There was no kettle provided for making tea in this kitchen, just a coffee maker. They provided a huge selection of sugar but no small supply of coffee. The only hook in the bathroom was hanging off the wall. We were only given bread at breakfast some mornings and not others, and sometimes there was no yogurt or milk out for cereals. This was always rectified once we asked, but for this standard and price of hotel we would expect it to be not necessary to have to keep asking."

"the complimentary upgrade we received from a heritage room (deluxe king suite) which I found dark and poorly equipped to a modern spacious apartment with incredible views of the nearby domes was so appreciated. Staff were very kind and thoughtful. Fabulous location."

"The location was perfect. The whole experience would not have been the same without Veronica. She knows a great deal of everything, very knowledgeable and very accommodating. Her recommendations for tours, restaurants among other things was just perfect. She should really be promoted to a managerial post rather than just being at the reception. The owner of this mansion has Veronica to thank for the good running of this place. Thank you again for this amazing experience"

"The historical building was once a home to an Ambassador so it does feel more like going into someone’s home. Even the cheapest room is full of pictures and very well furnished. It’s less than eight minutes to the Cathedral de la Immaculada Concepción and opposite to Paccarri chocolate cafe. The restaurant faces the courtyard filled with flowers and trees, perfect start to the morning. The concierge helped me to arrange a private tour of Ingapirca, a must see for Inca enthusiasts."
