"La casa è molto carina, accogliente e spaziosa. Interessante anche lo spazio comune al piano terra con possibilità di stendere e di rilassarsi sulle amache. La comunicazione con la proprietaria, Lienke, è stata ottimale e tramite Lei abbiamo prenotato i 3 tour più belli di Isabela (Las Tintoretas, Los Tuneles e vulcano Sierra Negra) che sono stati perfetti e con un'organizzazione impeccabile (noi siamo vegani e ci è sempre stata data la possibilità di rispettare il nostro regime alimentare). Siamo stati accolti da Rico che è stato fin da subito amichevole, gentile, super simpatico e pronto a rispondere ad ogni nostra esigenza anche tramite WhatsApp. Grazie per questi giorni indimenticabili su un'isola magica!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. The space was very roomy and perfect for our family of 4 with three single beds and one double bed, so everyone had plenty of space and comfort. The beds were very comfortable and the hot shower was a great bonus after long days exploring. Lienke and Dario were incredible hosts. They shared great tips to help us make the most of our time in Isabela and even helped us book excursions and arrange our ride back to the port, which made everything so easy. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches like daily housekeeping, fresh water, and having a fridge with beer (on the honor system).. It made the stay feel very comfortable and convenient. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Isabela."

"Very nice hosts with lots of helpful tips and quick to respond in case of questions. We could also store the luggage after checkout. The breakfast was also very good with a bit of variety of choices. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, there is really nothing wrong with it."

"It is rather noisy and you can hear basically everything (neighbor's music, dogs, cars), but this was the case wherever we stayed, so I think it is not particular to this location here. Tables next to the bed were missing, but I simply used the chair next to it, so it was ok."

"Black Pearl was very comfortable and impeccably clean. The facilities are great - I could even have a shower after check out which was great after a swim. It is a little further out from the main part of town - but only 5 minutes walk as the town is very small, so easy to get to! Lienke went out of her way to help with luggage storage, tips and sorting out rooms for me. It made a huge difference to my trip to have such a helpful and friendly host. Would highly recommend if you want an easy and relaxing stay!"

"The host was responsive and friendly. They cleaned the room everyday, and had facilities in the common area as well which is very convenient when you arrive early, or leave later than the check out or just to rinse up before getting to the room. They also rent out the wetsuit, fins and snorkels per day which is very convenient."

"This is one of those properties that feels like home. The owners are so welcoming and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and good quality. Bonus is a super friendly lady who lives opposite and will do all your washing for you."

"It is about a 1km walk into the main street. For us this was no problem at all and we enjoyed the exercise, but it may be an issue for people with less mobility."

"We had a wonderful stay here! The appartments are beautiful, spacious, comfortable and complete. Everything you would need is there. Also, everyone knows Lienke and Dario. On arrival, we told the taxi driver where to bring us - Black Pearl. "Ah, at Lienke", was his response. Since we're Dutch like Lienke, it was very nice to chat and hear about live on the Galapagos Islands. She booked us a tour, dropped us off in the center, as she was also heading there, and even drove us to the ferry pier on check out day. We could leave our luggage at the premise, so we could hang out in town before our 3pm ferry. The location is just off center, which makes it a nice and quit place to stay. Isla Isabela was our favorite island of the 3 islands we visited. If you're Dutch and you'll stay here: Lienke likes jong belegen kaas en zoute drop ;-)"
