"Uno spunto di miglioramento: legna più secca per poter accendere il camino. Il primo giorno abbiamo trovato un kit per accendere il camino funzionale. Ma il secondo giorno non è stato dato e la legna era piuttosto umida e difficile da far accendere."

"Struttura molto gradevole e accogliente, a parte la mancanza di armadi o cassettiere in cui riporre la nostra biancheria. Ottima colazione, il miglior riso con fagioli che abbiamo mangiato in tutto il nostro viaggio in Costarica. Il gradevolissimo odore della legna, il giardino curato e rigoglioso, la mangiatoia per colibrì subito di fronte alla finestra, che consente di osservarne tantissimi, anche da dentro alla propria stanza"

"Excellent food - we had several meals here and everything was outstanding. Great service and very helpful staff. Apartments were lovely as were the gardens and mountain views. There are three trails you can walk from Villa Calas - we did them all and all were lovely. Well located for visiting Poas Volcano and La Paz waterfalls which was the highlight of our stay."

"The only thing I would mention is the noise from the road at night- lots of big lorries and motorcycles at all hours. Also the location is quite isolated. If you have a car this is no problem but we did not so had to rely on taxis which Villa Calas kindly arranged for us - make sure you have cash for taxis before you arrive as there is no ATM nearby. None of this spoiled our stay though."

"We stayed in the lovely cottages with a fireplace and had such a wonderful evening there. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing, and the fireplace made it especially charming. The restaurant was absolutely delicious - we truly enjoyed the food. It’s a very convenient option to have everything in one place. The cleanliness was perfect - everything was spotless and very well maintained. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend it."

"As a small recommendation, it would be great to improve or replace the shower faucet. It was quite difficult to use, and it was only possible to wash the upper part of the body comfortably. However, this is just a minor suggestion for improvement."

"I am travelling a lot, and I can say that this was the best I have been. The room," 2 floors shack" was beautiful and well maintained. the view from the terrace was extraordinary, the gardening and surroundings were amazing. The staff was very helpful, (they did with me the booking for the Poas Volcano). Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were excellent. Heating in the evening with wood pieces in the fire place was both romantic and practical experience."

"It was everything more than perfect!!!! Area is miraculeus, the whole complex unique, the team is so friendly, professional and ready to support you in any issue!!!! The offer in restaurant for breakfast and dinner is unique, as well, with all fresh ingredients, from meat, vegetables, caffee… it is a natural oasis with wonderfull people!!!!!!!"
