"Stanza aveva un po’ di odore di chiuso, un giorno ha piovuto tanto ed entrava qualche goccia d’acqua dal soffitto in stanza. Lo Staff non ci ha dato troppe info su i vari tour di zona."

"La cucina è molto grande e attrezzata, lo staff gentile e c’è la possibilità di richiedere un’altra coperta visto che alla sera diventa abbastanza freddo. Molto apprezzata l’acqua calda nella doccia. Posizione buona, a 10 minuti di camminata dal centro."

"the staff helped me with all the activities. i also asked for an extra blancet for the night and got very fadt another one. kitchen has all you need. breakfast just two pancakes and two pieces of fruit."

"The staff were all so kind, helpful and accommodating. On the morning we checked out, the transport we had booked to Liberia cancelled at the last minute leaving us stranded, we asked reception if they could help and they ended up personally driving us there in their pickup - such hospitality!! We had a private room on the ground floor and it was nicely tucked away from the main area, and the room was very spacious, clean and cosy. Bed was comfy and the shower was very hot. The bathroom counter was huge which was useful for our things. The hostel was surprisingly big and there were lots of different communal spaces, a large kitchen and dining area, and great sunset views from the balcony. The street of the hostel looks very industrial but it was only a short walk to the town centre. One of the biggest & cheapest supermarkets was 3 min walk (Supermercado Monteverde). It was really good value for money for Costa Rica."

"Wifi was unpredictable, but there was extreme wind for the duration of our stay so maybe this affected the network."

"Nice hostel with good vibe. The staff can help with booking a shuttle to activities. It's not directly downtown, but easily accessible on foot. It's cold at night, but they provide a blanket (although one might not be enough, I recommend you bring warm sleeping clothes)."

"The bathrooms weren't very clean. When I was there, they never emptied the trash from the dorm and communal bathrooms, so it stank..."

"The kitchen area was really big and had a nice view on the surroudings. There was enough space between the beds in the dorm room and as it was low season I had it for myself during 2 days. the owner was very friendly and helpful to arrange trips in the surrounding area and advice on the different possibilities. The free breakfast normally contains fruit, coffee and 2 pancakes but I could choose to have rice and beans instead. The price for the accomodation was really low. There were several wifi points so reception was good enough everywhere in the building. The location was close enough from the centre to walk it up and down."

"When I arrived, there was a volunteer recieving me. He was friendly but couldn't really answer my questions about what to do in the area. I was no possibility to do handwashing."

"It was low season when I stayed so the hostel was a little empty. Obviously this is outside of their control and not a criticism at all - but it did feel a little quiet at night time."
