Case di campagna in Belgio

"Great welcome, the owner Pao was very attentive to my needs, brought me to breakfast in town every morning, his wife cooking me food for lunch and/or supper. I was by myself but didn’t feel alone having the family around, and Pao included me in his evenings with his friends. I had my own room with mattress on the ground firm but I find comfortable with a mosquito net. Shared bathroom but very clean toilet. Shower with the bucket with cold water - but invigorating and makes the experience authentic ! Nice setting with greenery. Hammocks to relax."

No WiFi available unfortunately, but I had my own SIM card with lots of gigabytes so it didn’t bother me to use my 5G. Roosters singing in the evening or early in the morning - but you get used to it / or put earplugs and it’s fine! Again it makes you feel in the countryside so it’s part of the experience!

"la struttura è collocata in un contesto molto bucolico, immersa nella campagna bosniaca, tra bellissime colline. l ultimo tratto è strada bianca ma perfettamente raggiungibile e molto segnalato. tutto molto curato, pieno di piante, anche da frutto. il proprietario gentilissimo e disponibile, con il telefonino traduttore conduce interessanti conversazioni, il che è importante per scambiare opinioni e conoscere testimonianze "dal vivo". colazione ricchissima con prodotti locali. ideale per rilassarsi durante il viaggio itinerante. davvero un gioiellino"

Some more kitchenware would’ve been nice. Not much soundproofed but it was silent in the evening in the house; Only some youths outside parading their tuned cars up and down the road.

Accueil très rapide, aucune information, pas de code wifi. Pas possible de se baigner dans la piscine, le robot était dedans durant notre séjour. Salle d'eau pas très propre. Manque des rideaux occultants pour ne pas être réveillé par le jour Tiroir cassé Très peu de vaisselle, pas de torchon de cuisine

"Struttura molto bella in mezzo alla campagna a metà strada tra il mare e Brugges, però è indispensabile l'auto. Appartamento grande, spazioso e luminoso, accessoriato di tutto e pulito. Giardino privato recintato ottimo per chi ha cani (accettati senza problema ma con supplemento). Padroni di casa gentili"

Non è un a critica ma un suggerimento: sarebbero molto graditi prodotti per la colazione (the, caffè)

"L'accomodation si trova in una zona che a me è piaciuta molto, bucolica direi, circondata da dolci colline con case sparse e campi coltivati. L'appartamento era stato chiaramento preparato per accogliermi nel miglior modo possibile, le finestre erano un po' aperte per far scorrere la brezza, il pane appena sfornato aveva un profumo che mi ha riportata a casa, le uova ed il latte nel frigo. Gli spazi sono molto ampi ed è tutto in ordine e a portata di mano. Ho goduto dello spazio fuori dove potevo cenare e fare colazione con il rumore della brezza fra gli alberi e le cicale, una delizia. L'host è stato sempre gentilissimo e molto disponibile, mi ha dato ottimi consigli su cosa fare anche se la zona non è delle più turistiche. Molto silenzioso e circondato di agapanthus bianchi e blu, incantevole!"

"This is very peaceful independent house. The atmosphere was really good. Owner picked me up and drop me off when I checked in and checked out. It is far away from the town, but local buses are running regularly. Easy to catch them."

The road to the house was not easy to walk when it gets raining. Dry season should be ok though.

"The home is in great shape and is easily accessible. Check-in and check-out was well laid out in advance. We enjoyed using the kitchen to cook meals and store drinks during our stay. Having the AC in the room was a life-saver!"

Some basic kitchen amenities like paper towels and trash bags were not provided or incorrectly sized. Trash bins (inside and outside) were sometimes over-full due to the nature of the shared space.

"The view from restaurant is awsome, not many places in the world like this. Maria took care of us with love. Breakfast excellent, local fruits, tea and coffee, omelette. Excellent grilled tuna or other fish for lunch or dinner. Cottage was clean, with a view on ocean. We were almost alone there. It is possible to pay by eur or dobra. Maria also arranged tacxi for the airport."

"This is not a standard hotel or gite or whatever, this is a special place. Expect no luxury here, this is not what Karims guesthouse is about. It is about being in a small village and in nature. Basically, this is as close to a home stay as you can book on Booking. You can choose a room or the stilted house (recommended) in a garden full of interesting plants. Your water comes from a well or the river, your coffee directly from the bushes around you, and the food from...actually I don't know where, but it is amazing. One of the Kpime waterfalls is just a short, but nice walk away, and you can roam the village or take a long walk to Yikpa waterfall (~4 h one way). And when you come back, you lay in a hammock with a fresh and local cocoa or sit in the garden. And the best, you don't need to be in Kpalime, with all the chaos, noise, and smells. Although it is something different, I really enjoyed my stay. Karim is a fantastic host and La montagne verde exactly my type of stay."

Just be aware what you are booking, and there is nothing negative about it.
