L'IFC Residence si trova proprio sopra la stazione della metropolitana Lujiazui (linea 2), a circa 10 minuti in auto dal Bund. L'albergo sorge inoltre a circa 10 minuti di cammino dallo Shanghai Ocean Aquarium e dista in auto circa 20 minuti dal New International Expo Center e circa 40 minuti dall'Aeroporto Internazionale di Pudong e da Shanghai Disneyland. Caratterizzate da splendidi arredi in piacevoli tonalità neutre e ottimamente illuminate dalla luce naturale, le sistemazioni sono tutte dotate di cucina con piano cottura, forno a microonde e lavastoviglie, docking station per iPod, lettore blu-ray, lavatrice e set da stiro. La struttura impiega un sistema di disinfezione a luce ultravioletta per la ventilazione principale dell'aria, completa di filtro, e la fornitura dell'acqua. Sul posto vi attendono parimenti un centro fitness ben attrezzato, un giardino, una terrazza solarium, un'area giochi per bambini e un centro business. L'IFC Residence dista pochi passi da numerosi punti ristoro e ospita un locanda che serve una buffet del mattino continentale ogni mattina.

"Ottimo residence nel cuore di Pudong proprio davanti alla Shanghai Tower. Posizione eccellente, proprio sopra la stazione della metropolitana (linea 2). Camere ampie e ben arredate seppur un poco datate. Staff molto gentile con buona conoscenza dell'inglese."
"La colazione è sicuramente la parte da migliorare: se l'offerta per i clienti locali è sicuramente all'altezza non lo è invece per i visitatori occidentali. Pochi prodotti e di bassa qualità (es pane, croissants, marmellate, ecc)."

"Location which is abutting the IFC mall with direct access to Lujiazui station, the mall had a supermarket, some staff spoke English, FF&E of the hotel, very well maintained FF & E. I was in IFC in 2016. When I stay there in Dec 2025 until Jan 2026, the state of the original FF & E had my jaw dropped.. Extremely well maintained."
"Most staff still do not speak English. After 10 years, very little effort given to staff ability to speak English. Needs to be more efficient with Tabao delivery. Two of my items found after I left Shanghai and 1 item was never found. Just needs to have a better delivery system for Tabao items. Offering Muslims menu is something IFC must implement and no longer ignore. So many Arab guests and myself are Muslims. One AC in main bedroom remained as heater even though I had set to cooling at 20 deg C. A technician came but situation remains the same. Time to diagnose the condition and repair if must. Full height mirror should be provided in living room or to save cost, provide at all lift lobbies."

"The rooms are spacious, comfortable and has washing machine so we can do our laundry easily. The hotel's location is good too, as it is linked to the ifc mall and is beside the train station. It is also walking distance to the riverside."

"I feel relaxed in IFC due to atmosphere, furniture, friendly staff, perfect location and cozy rooms. IFC luxury mall is underneath and more affordable Super Brand Store across the road. Tallest skyscrapers next door as well as TV tower. You can access Old Town through underground sightseeing tunnel behind TV tower."
