Hotel Tobler

"Camera con ampio balcone, letto e cuscini molto comodi, staff molto gentile e colazione buonissima con ampia scelta (apprezzata la colazione salata!). Ci siamo goduti la piscina interna e l’angolo relax quasi da soli. Abbiamo trascorso in hotel una sola notte ma l’ambiente era molto confortevole e accogliente, lo consiglierei. La posizione con vista sul lago molto apprezzata. Giardino e dintorni molto curati, anche il buffet."

"L’asciugacapelli un pò datato, il soffitto e le pareti che purtroppo peccano di insonorizzazione (sonno interrotto molte volte dai rumori e dai passi e movimenti di chi stava sopra di noi), il pavimento della piscina molto scivoloso, rischio cadute."

"Very nice and helpful personnel. We expected to be able to eat dinner in the hotels restaurant, but it closed at 18:30. This was disturbing as we came by public transport and due to knee problems we could only go from and to the hotel by hotel shuttle- but this service was not available after 17:00. That tainted the good experience somewhat. We ate in our room instead sharing dinner in a restaurant for my husbands birthday."

"This is a delightful hotel in a lovely elevated position with excellent views over Lago Maggiore and the surrounding country. Plenty of car parking on site. Comfortable and well-equipped bedroom with a comfortable sitting room attached. Excellent breakfast with a very good selection of very good hot and cold food. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Very nice and impeccably clean, small indoor swimming pool. The larger outdoor swimming pool was covered during my stay at the hotel."

"The only disappointment is that there is no restaurant in the hotel and there is only one restaurant with a very limited menu in a nearby hotel."

"A nice place to stay. About a 10 minute walk to the waterfront in Ascona. Hotel had great views of the lake. Good facilities and really friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast buffet excellent. Overall a really good stay"
