The family-run Alpenhof dimora is only 3 minutes' walk away from the centre of Grindelwald and the train station, and is situated right at the ski slope. The rooms and suites all have either a balcony or terrace, are accessible by lift, and feature free WiFi access. They all come with a HD TV, a radio, a telephone, a minibar, a coffee machine and a bathroom with hairdryer and shower or bath tub. Some rooms have panoramic views towards the Eiger Mountain. "It’s a little bit of a steeper walk from town (especially if you have luggage) and the roads can be a little slippery when it’s cold, a lift up and down would be better suited if you have some troubles with mobility. Otherwise good, and with the steeper walk up comes a better view out ☺️"
