"I really enjoyed staying at Camping La Y Griega, in Bocas del Toro. For me, the location is perfect because it is a bit further away from town (which can be very noisy), making the atmosphere much calmer and more peaceful. In addition, the two buses that go to the main destinations on the island stop right in front: to Playa Bluff or towards Bahía Dragón and Playa Estrella. Taxis to town cost 1 dollar. There are affordable options for both rooms and tents. The tents are set up on wooden platforms in a very cozy space with hammocks and sofas. The place is well maintained, with a beautiful garden and a fully equipped kitchen. Howler monkeys pass by very often, and you can also see hummingbirds, which makes the atmosphere even more special. The owner, Johny, is very attentive and friendly, and the volunteers are also very kind and helpful. If I return to Bocas del Toro, I will definitely stay there again. I highly recommend it."

Ottimo il ristorante, efficiente e di buona qualità. La colazione a buffet è davvero ricca di cibo dolci e salati. Personale gentile e disponibile. Buona la qualità dei servizi in comune."

There is a steep stairs on the 1st floor to enter your rooms.

"Es war genau die kleine Auszeit, die ich gebraucht habe. Der Wagen war gemütlich, sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet – man hat sofort gemerkt, dass hier mit Herz gearbeitet wird. Besonders schön war die ruhige Atmosphäre auf dem Platz. Ich habe die Stille und das Meeresrauschen sehr genossen, konnte endlich einmal richtig ausschlafen und bei langen Spaziergängen über die Insel abschalten. Abends auf der Terrasse zu sitzen, zu grillen und den Sonnenuntergang zu beobachten, war jedes Mal ein Highlight. Vielen Dank auch für deine freundliche Art und die unkomplizierte Kommunikation – das hat den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht. Ich komme sehr gern wieder und empfehle den „Lieblingsplatz“ mit bestem Gewissen weiter."

Das einzige kleine Manko war die etwas dünne Matratze im Bauwagrn.

"Inmitten von Wäldern und Seen gelegener großer Platz.Die Hütte war sehr sauber und das Badezimmer riesig.Wir hatten alles was wir brauchten.Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und hilfsbereit.Fahrräder und Roller hätte man ausleihen können, ebenso SUPs , Preise dafür sehr angemessen."

"Di certo la più conveniente rispetto alla concorrenza. Ottima la navetta aeroportuale e lo staff gentile. Caravan molto attrezzati anche senza gli extra proposti (per una settimana non servono)."

Ci hanno dotato di un camper purtroppo non molto pulito, probabilmente si affidano alle pulizie dei locatari, senza sanificare il camper prima del cliente successivo. Nel nostro caso il frigo era sporco di un liquido giallastro e maleodorante, come lo era la tappezzeria del camper in sé per sé. Non ci hanno dotato nemmeno delle lenzuola 😔. Noi lo abbiamo riconsegnato più pulito di come ci era stato consegnato.

Ci hanno dotato di un camper purtroppo non molto pulito, probabilmente si affidano alle pulizie dei locatari, senza sanificare il camper prima del cliente successivo. Nel nostro caso il frigo era sporco di un liquido giallastro e maleodorante, come lo era la tappezzeria del camper in sé per sé. Non ci hanno dotato nemmeno delle lenzuola 😔. Noi lo abbiamo riconsegnato più pulito di come ci era stato consegnato.

"This was a very comfortable modern house like a tiny home but felt spacious. Kids loved sleeping in the loft. It was warm and inviting. The setting is lovely on a river with some small falls. I imagine Iin summer the outdoor bbq area would be very nice. We had a very comfortable night. Free onsen was nice although glad no one else there as it was tiny."

The location is quite far from the train so you need a taxi. The taxi drivers seemed put out to go there she it cost us about $40. Also far from a shop. So bring food or have a car. I like an onsen but it was very tiny. It would be nicer outdoors by the river.

"Abbiamo optato per la lakeside cabine, una piccola struttura bordo lago con letto comodo e frigorifero/bollitore. Il campeggio è molto verde e ampio, con cucina attrezzata e bagni comuni"

La cabin non ha un tavolo, solo una panca. Da fuori sembra trasandata. I bagni in comune e le doccie sono spartani e pochi rispetto agli utenti.

"We had a great stay at Moonys! Fernando is an amazing host who made everything possible. He even picked us up or organized transport when we needed it. We immediatly felt more like family than guests. The chalet is a beautiful place: clean and neat, and in the middle of nowhere. It is very quiet and a perfect place to relax."

There's nothing we didnt like. However you should consider transport: if you dont come with your own car, you depend on Fernando and you need to count in money, time and organization for commuting to wherever you wanna go. Taxis might not go all the way up to the chalet because its a dirt road. There's no supermarkets or restaurants close enough to walk to.

Il caravan è molto datato e ha molto bisogno di una sistemata interna, perché tutto cade a pezzi.
