"Laid back, relaxing place with newer beautiful pool, comfortable bed/room, + Jack's Snack Shack. British owners. Not far from the hwy. Also had game room with billards. Great food with a highly talented chef that prepared wings & fajitas from scratch! Would go back for the food! Wanted to try all the items 😋. Thanks Jack!"
"Everything was satisfactory. We did book on route so I believe we caught them off guard arriving after supper in the dark. There wasn't enough notice so towels were missing in the room, & some cleaner/ garbage was left in the washroom. No big deal. We used our towels & got replacements the next morning. Jack kindly welcomed us & accommodated us by preparing delicious food for us after we arrived :) . Lovely pool likely needed a shock to be crystal clear. But was nice regardless."

"Jack’s property Hidden Haven is the perfect place to experience life in the jungles of Belize. The cabanas are surrounded by lush jungle and wildlife. The cabanas are spacious and well equipped with comfy beds. My experience at Jack’s meeting his friends once was in a lifetime and Jack’s hospitality is unmatched. Couldn’t be happier with my stay at hidden haven"

"Nice cabana (Heliconia), with hot water, a little stove, a fridge and other basic necessities. The back balcony to the jungle was amazing. Also, the fresh food made by the chef, Jack, was very tasty and very good priced (cooked on the spot for both breakfast and dinner). The salted water pool was amazing and also eating dinner by the pool and meeting the other travelers was very nice."
"1.Be mindful that you either need to rent a car to get there or call a taxi anytime you need to get to San Ignacio, as this property is off the road, about 15-20 min away from the city. 2. The bed was uncomfortable, not quite the advertised queen size and also the mattress was uneven. Very difficult to sleep, combined with the outside noises from the jungle, which was expected. 3. There's a musty smell in the cabin (this was Heliconia, although it was freshly renovated, we were told). 4. One of the owner dogs was coming up onto the back balcony, startled us a couple of times. And than it grabbed my wife's arm while we waited peacefully for our ride to the airport on the ground, in front of the cabin, we couldn't calm him down. It was scary as nobody was around to help."
