Casona Gloria

"Casona Gloria si trova nel centro della città, accanto alla plaza principale. Nonostante la centralità, la camera è molto silenziosa. Sistemazione ottima, stanza pulita e confortevole, così come il bagno e gli spazi comuni (salottino e cucina). In inverno molto apprezzato l'ambiente riscaldato. Il gestore è molto disponibile, lo si può contattare ad ogni ora e per qualsiasi necessità (spostamenti, negozi, consigli di ogni genere). Consigliatissimo per una visita nella Chura Tarija!"

As the rooms were ready we were able to check in as soon as we arrived Patio to sit out as a group Very, very helpful when we realised we had left some clothes behind, posted to our next hostel! Aircon that could warm the room. Helped us with our delayed flights. Would love to stay here again 😊"

"Great location just a few meters from the main square Luis de Fuentes and la Casa Dorada. Quite comfy and very neat rooms with lovely antique furniture. Friendly staff and good services. The owners are quite helpful providing info about tours in Tarija. The ice cream shop is probably the best in the city. The Casona Gloria has an added historic value being the place where the great poet Roberto Echazú was born."

"Beautiful huge room in a perfect location, a block away from the main square with loads of restaurants around. Great view on to the street from the little balcony, huge comfortable bed with lovely linens, fast and strong wifi. Lovely huge bathroom with plenty of hot water. We really enjoyed our stay here! There's a kettle and good sized fridge, loads of seating (including two couches) and the decorating is truly lovely. We stayed 3 nights and could easily have stayed longer."

"Be aware that you pay at the restaurant next door and that communication between the owner and/or staff is largely non existent. You Do need to tell them your arrival.time so someone will let you in and take you up to.your room."
