This elegant guest house offers traditionally decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TV with a DVD player. Recour is in the centre of Poperinge, only 160 metres from the Grote Markt. A minibar, seating area and tea and coffee making facilities are standard in the air-conditioned rooms at Gastenkamers Recour. The rooms also have a modern bathroom with a shower and hairdryer. A bathrobe and slippers are also provided. Recour Gastenkamers is 650 metres from Poperinge Station. The centre of Ypres is 15 minutes’ drive away. Kortrijk and the Xpo Halls are 30 minutes away by car. Lille, in France, is a 40-minute car journey away.

"We got upgraded to one of the rooms in the hotel. It was fantastic, the bed was huge and incredibly comfortable. The shower and bathroom were very nice and the staff were very welcoming. I also had a drink from the minibar and thought the price was very reasonable."

"Ruim appartement in het centrum van Poperinge. Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk en bood ons een gratis upgrade aan aangezien er nog een luxe kamer over was. Kamer was uitgerust met een groot bed en een badkamer die voorzien was van alle nodige faciliteiten. Wij komen hier graag nog eens terug!"

"We got an upgrade on arrival in the main mansion so probably not rating the right room here but wow was it amazing. Lots of cachet! The details in the decoration! The bed was incredibly confortable, the bathroom was gigantic, the coffee delicious, perfect location, nice lady at the reception. We were happy it rained one day just to stay in all cosy!"

"Struttura molto bella, curata, pulita e anche gli animali sono tenuti benissimo. La tripla che abbiamo prenotato era spaziosa e pulita. Il gestore è una persona capace e accogliente, pieno di premure, sempre disponibile per fare stare bene gli ospiti e in effetti si respira una bella atmosfera di armonia. Le colazioni erano deliziose, con omelette e crêpes preparate al momento. Ci è dispiaciuto dover andare via e lo consigliamo senza indugio. Attorno è bellissimo, con tante possibilità di passeggiate nei boschi, uscendo dalla struttura c’è anche un allevamento di alpaca. A pochi minuti una ampia scelta di deliziosi ristoranti consigliati dal gestore. Parcheggio comodo."

Disponibile anche un giardino in cui rilassarsi e/o mangiare.Zona centrale per raggiungere Bruxelles, Gand e Brugges, ma immersa nella tranquillità."

"We had the large bedroom at the front of the property which was very spacious and well appointed. Delicious breakfast with all fresh produce and many homemade by the owner. Fab, quiet location just outside town which has many places to eat in. Owner is very attentive and even moved his car so we could park a large van. Highly recommend to all and if we are ever back in the area would will be staying again. Claire x"
