"The mixed dormitory room is way too full with 7 bunked beds. The air was bad and it was not quiet until way after midnight. The bath room could have also been cleaner. When I was coming the owner ate lunch and he almost insisted me to eat with him. I thought it was hospitality but he wanted 10 AZN afterwards. For this price you can also eat in the city."

"The reception guy is not standing on desk mostly and when you need to ask something some other Indian, Pakistinian approxing you aggressivly without knowing anything what you need and that is so interrupting and bullshit 🤔"

"Though there was a message - it was never mentioned that the road in front of the hostel is under construction and not passable with taxi. I had to pass through a small street that’s under construction, not well lighted. It was a good thing I saw another guy to ask direction from. Additionally - it was not mentioned that there was only 1 bathroom for all of the rooms. I also paid extra to have a room with the bathroom but I never got it. It was also quite unfortunate that I happen to share the room with a lady who seems to be with her boyfriend besdie her and they keep talking in hushed tones in the middle of the night. Overall not a good experience so next day I transferred to a hotel so I could sleep better"

"The location is amazing in the middle of the center of beautiful Baku! The staff are very helpful they helped me with booking a ticket from a local website it was impossible by skyscanner thx for that they told me also to find everything what i needed. you feel like home highly recommend"

"The place itself is nice, but the entrance and staircase are awful — water drips from the floor above, and there’s a terrible smell of shoes right in front of the hostel door. There’s only one bathroom for all guests, where the shower and toilet are basically attached to each other, so it’s always flooded and always occupied. The shower drain often gets clogged, and it happened again this morning. I was there and told the staff that simply pushing something down the pipe isn’t enough — to stop it from happening all the time, they need to actually remove what’s causing the blockage. The answer I got: “I don't know what to do. I'm not able. I’ll wait for the cleaning lady.” it is important to note that after the cleaning lady comes, no one of the stuff will clean anything even when very dirty (repeat one bathroom for many many guests!!!!). Apparently I was the only one using toilet paper in the hostel. When I asked for it, after staring at me as I was crazy, one member of the staff gave me some kitchen paper and then nothing more, there was no more toilet paper in the hostel for the 2 days I was there. There’s another bathroom on the third floor, but it technically belongs to a private room. If no one is staying there, other guests can use it too. However, there’s always a very strong smell of smoke inside, and the shower water — besides being lukewarm — barely comes out: just a weak little trickle! To reach that bathroom, you have to walk past the owner, who sleeps in a bed nearby. More than once, the kitchen sink was full of dirty dishes. The kitchen itself is often dirty. There’s a constant, very strong smell of food everywhere (this morning at 7 a.m., there was a strong smell of fried onions and spices even in my room on the second floor). Most of the guests are people who actually live in the hostel, waiting for their residence permits, as they told me."
