Set in a quiet location in the small town of Sankt Michael in the Lungau region, the 4-superior-star Wellnessalloggio Eggerwirt offers a 12,500 m² hammam e sauna and pool area, free WiFi, and fine Austrian cuisine. The Großeck/Speiereck Ski Area is only 800 metres away. Zona Termale facilities include an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, a solar-heated swimming pond, a salt-water floating pool, a steam bath, and various saunas and relaxation rooms. Massages and beauty treatments are also available, and there is a modern fitness centre with Technogym equipment. Activities such as yoga and aerobics are also offered. The Eggerwirt’s rooms are furnished in an elegant Alpine style and feature flat-screen satellite TV, a seating area, a minibar, and mountain views. Full-board includes a varied breakfast buffet with many healthy and regional specialties, afternoon snacks, and a 5-course dinner. Non-alcoholic drinks and mountain spring water from the alloggio’s own source are available free of charge throughout the day. A playground, an indoor playroom, a special sauna and steam bath, and special meals are offered for children. Various activities for children, including horse riding, are available, and child care is provided on weekdays (also on weekends during school holidays). Free underground parking is available on site. Guests can rent hiking sticks and rucksacks. St. Michael Golf Course is 2 km away and offers a 25% green fee discount to guests. The Katschberg/Aineck Ski Area is 3 km away, and it is 15 km to the Fanningberg Ski Area and 25 km to the Obertauern Ski Area. A free ski bus is available, and ski passes can be bought at the reception.

"This was truly amazing experience - great room, excellent SPA, fine breakfast and exquisite dinners. Underground parking. Very friendly staff. Close distance (10 min by car) to nearby ski lifts."

"Ein umwerfendes Hotel. Der Wellness Bereich ist einzigartig. Die Auswahl an Möglichkeiten, Saunen verschiedenster Natur mit teilweise sensationellem Ausblick, Dampfsaunen in allen nur vorstellbaren Ausprägungen, Solebad zum meditieren, Aussenbecken zum sprudeln, schwimmen, abkühlen, Infrarotkabinen, Eisnebelgang, versteckte Ruheräumr mit beheizten Liegen, Badeteich etc ist sensationell. Alles neu, piecksauber mit Kamin im Ruheraum, Tee und Säften, kleine Snacks, Kuchen, Obst etc. Das alles sucht was vergleichbares. Wellness auf allerhöchstem Niveau. Gekrönt durch eine fantastische, sehr abwechslungsreiche Küche am Abend und ein sehr üppiges Frühstücksbuffet. Mittags einen kleinen Imbiss. Der Eggerwirt ist der Perfektion verdammt nahe."
