"Gedateerde meubels maar alles werkte prima. Heerlijk huis, wij miste niets."

Jammer dat er geen tuin bij zit, maar als je veel weg bent mis je het weinig

"Struttura pulita, l'appartamento è grande e spazioso; il gestore molto gentile e disponibile ci ha preparato anche un'ottima cena e mi ha permesso di usare la cucina per fare da mangiare alla mia bimba di un anno. Abbiamo conosciuto anche Aymen, un ragazzo del posto che la mattina ci ha fatto da guida per la città vecchia."

Purtroppo essendo gennaio l'appartamento era freddo e non è abbastanza riscaldato ma con temperature più miti è perfetto!

"Loved our host. Went above and beyond for us. She was great with our kids. Helped with a hire car and even dropped around some food."

Very minor but would be nice to have hot water from the tap in the sink to wash dishes. We could get hot water from the shower or put the kettle on to do dishes with.

"L'host è molto gentile e disponibile. Ci ha accolto anche se era già tardi e ci ha dato ottimi consigli su cosa vedere in città / dove mangiare. L'appartamento è un po' defilato dal centro città (circa 10 min a piedi), dall'altra parte si trova in una zona molto tranquilla e silenziosa."

La cucina non era rifornita e la pulizia, in alcuni punti della casa, lasciava un po' a desiderare.

"My sister & I stayed 4 nights here! 😍 We loved that… it was great value for money,… there’s a shop downstairs that opened 7 days till late… The location was awesome, right next to DMC, Vailoa, (the best fried chicken franchise on the island 😋)… the twin room was clean, and spacious with 2 x twin beds, sofa lounge, a balcony with clothes airer, a wardrobe, massive shower with hot water, toiletries & towels, kitchen sink with utilities, Tea/Coffee facilities, Aircon & free WiFi…and… The host, (Teresa), was very friendly & welcoming, always willing & present to help out when needed. 😃"

The only issue, was the accommodation is upstairs and carrying heavy luggage upstairs was a little challenging, otherwise, it was excellent value for money. 👍

"The accommodation was clean and fresh, Location was quiet with plenty of local restaurants, and a few local shops to get basic groceries. We hired a car during our stay which is recommended if you want to further a field as we did ."

There was nothing not to like.

"Communication was quick and helpful. The room was a reasonable size and the bed comfortable. The area was excellent with metro, shops and restaurants all very close by."

I didn't not like anything, but a knife to cut things with would have been useful and maybe mugs for tea/coffee as there were only some small paper cups.

"Das Haus war sehr schön dekoriert, voll ausgestattet, sauber. Preis war top für die ganze Ausstattung. Eine Wäscherei war vor Ort vorhanden. Der Check-in lief reibungslos."

Nach der Bitumen mußten wir ungefähr 500m in einer nicht bitumierte Straße. Leider sind nicht alle Straßen in Yaoundé mit Bitumen

"L accoglienza , la cura dei dettagli , lo staff , la Posizione tranquilla e sicura, il cottage è molto bello , cucina con tutti gli utensili necessari mancava lo scolapasta ma ce l ha subito dato Demi graziosissima e gentilissima molto premurosa !"

Aggiungerei un armadio per i vestiti , perché per ora ci son degli appendiabiti nel riparto lavanderia 1 gancio in bagno per appendere gli asciugamani E 1 phon , ma comunque sono solo accorgimenti da fare non c era nulla che “ non è piaciuto “ o non andava ! Anzi

"Very cosy apartment in a quiet location. Well-equipped kitchenette Easy parking in the nearby street Shops are available within a few minutes drive time."

There is only one power socket in the sleeping room, and it does not work (well) as the holes are too loose to uphold any charging device. A multi-socket cable connected to a repaired socket would be appreciated. In the kitchenette, there is some coffee and tea provided, much appreciated. Oddly, there is no sugar but salt. Sugar would be more useful than salt.

"The host was super nice, she even helped me out to find locations in the city, the house was very clean, quiet and comfy. I would totally recommend it to everyone, i also want to mention that the house is historical. Would totally come back❤️❤️"

I can’t even mention one thing that i didn’t like

"Appartamento moderno, ben arredato e pulito. La zona è molto tranquilla ma a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro. In cucina c'erano dei piccoli assaggi delle aziende del posto che abbiamo molto apprezzato. Anche grazie a questo, abbiamo trovato i negozi dove prendere i nostri souvenir. Segnalo che dopo la prenotazione verrà richiesta una caparra (più che legittimo, ma non avevo trovato la info su booking al momento della prenotazione). Caparra restituita in brevissimo tempo."

"Abbiamo soggiornato un weekend con i nostri cagnolini per fare una Expo e la posizione favorevole ci ha agevolati molto. Ottima esperienza di check in anche se siamo arrivati in anticipo rispetto all’orario stabilito . Camilla è stata un’host cordiale e precisa pronta a soddisfare ogni nostra richiesta. Ci ha fornito informazioni anche su locali vicini dove mangiare un ‘ottima pizza. L’appartamento è moderno e confortevole ,pulitissimo e molto caldo. Dotato di spazio anche all’esterno dovr poter lasciare i cani con la possibilità di chiudere il cancello."

"Amazing location!! At the heart of The Pearl, right by the beach (private beach) and 5 minutes away from the Gewan Island and Abraj Bay. The host was very quick to respond and to accommodate us, thank you very much!"

"The unit was very very clean. We were close to the beach. Walking distance. Beach towels , chairs and umbrella were available. There was a beach bar right on the beach that we ate at. We did not rent a car. We used M&M taxi while we were there. Awesome service. We also ate at Miss B. Another spot on the beach front. We enjoyed our time. Thank you. We were a party of three. Wifi was able to handle all your streaming needs."

No complaints. All was well.
