We had some problems with the door that never worked for the whole stay but the reception staff was helpful

Nach der Bitumen mußten wir ungefähr 500m in einer nicht bitumierte Straße. Leider sind nicht alle Straßen in Yaoundé mit Bitumen

"The accommodation was clean and fresh, Location was quiet with plenty of local restaurants, and a few local shops to get basic groceries. We hired a car during our stay which is recommended if you want to further a field as we did ."

There was nothing not to like.

"Nice room with en-suite bathroom and kitchenette connected to main house but separate entrance. Good option if you want to surf Playa Colorados - 15 min walk or less by bicycle. The host Eric is friendly and hospitable."

"Appartamento moderno, ben arredato e pulito. La zona è molto tranquilla ma a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro. In cucina c'erano dei piccoli assaggi delle aziende del posto che abbiamo molto apprezzato. Anche grazie a questo, abbiamo trovato i negozi dove prendere i nostri souvenir. Segnalo che dopo la prenotazione verrà richiesta una caparra (più che legittimo, ma non avevo trovato la info su booking al momento della prenotazione). Caparra restituita in brevissimo tempo."

"My sister & I stayed 4 nights here! 😍 We loved that… it was great value for money,… there’s a shop downstairs that opened 7 days till late… The location was awesome, right next to DMC, Vailoa, (the best fried chicken franchise on the island 😋)… the twin room was clean, and spacious with 2 x twin beds, sofa lounge, a balcony with clothes airer, a wardrobe, massive shower with hot water, toiletries & towels, kitchen sink with utilities, Tea/Coffee facilities, Aircon & free WiFi…and… The host, (Teresa), was very friendly & welcoming, always willing & present to help out when needed. 😃"

The only issue, was the accommodation is upstairs and carrying heavy luggage upstairs was a little challenging, otherwise, it was excellent value for money. 👍

Avevamo a disposizione anche una bici. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo per i costi della Groenlandia (abbiamo pagato la metà di una soluzione analoga a kangerlussuaq)"

L'appartamento è decisamente trascurato nell'arredamento, vecchiotto e rovinato, necessita di una rivisitazione complessiva. . Poca e rovinata l'attrezzatura da cucina. Piuttosto sporco.

"Very cozy place owned by an incredibly friendly and welcoming family. Breakfast was included in the price and it was always absolutely delicious — thanks to them, I had the chance to try several traditional Sri Lankan dishes I wouldn’t have discovered on my own. Whenever I needed anything, they were quick to help and always took care of everything with a smile. Their hospitality truly made my stay feel special and comfortable. Thank you once again for such a warm and memorable experience!"

The place is located a bit farther from the main areas, so you’ll need to walk a few kilometers, take a tuk-tuk, or have your own vehicle. However, there is a small convenience shop right next to the accommodation, which is handy if you need anything. If you’re sensitive to noise at night, it might be an issue — though that’s quite common for most hostels and village houses in Sri Lanka.

The kitchen could use a microwave oven The curtains in the bedrooms should be washed.. they smelled musty please provide English instructions on how to use the laundry machine

"The host and hostess were very kind and helped us check in almost close to midnight. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were simple and clean."

Missed an on-site restaurant and had to drive almost six kms away for decent breakfast. The Wifi could be better. The approach road is accessible only by a off roader 4x4.
