"É una occasione imperdibile poter soggiornare in una architettura ex sovietica ricca di storia e significato come la casa degli scrittori di Sevan! Ovviamente la struttura é decadente ma ha un fascino incredibile, la terrazza della sala rotonda della colazione é bellissima, con le vetrate che affacciano sul lago e il pavimento in parquet. La colazione é abbondante e buona. Accanto al blocco dove si trova la sala delle colazioni, arroccato sulla collina, si trova l'edificio con le camere da letto. La stanza era grande e affacciava su una grande terrazza comune vista lago, davvero incredibile. Alcuni cartelloni spiegano la storia di questa architettura che ha dell'incredibile, con tanto di progetti e fotografie d'epoca. Il contrasto con il monastero in cima alla collina é pazzesco. Insomma per gli amanti di questo tipo di esperienza é un passaggio imperdibile. Il posto vale assolutamente un soggiorno."

"Con qualche servizio e accorgimento in più potrebbe essere un posto da sogno. I bagni non sono un granché e purtroppo non c'è la possibilità di cenare nella grande sala anche se c'é un barbecue all'aperto che qualche ospite stava usando per cuocere delle pannocchie e che abbiamo immaginato fosse ad uso comune. Il personale é un po' freddo e non molto accogliente, la sera il posto é un po' buio."

"To echo comments of others, the chance to stay a night in the historic Sevan Writers' House was wonderful. The views of the lake were super from both the room and restaurant. The gentlemen managing the restaurant and accommodation were polite."

"It’s run down. The modernist concrete is crumbling and it’s cold and the shower is a trickle, but that’s not the point."

"Feels like stepping back in time ! If you’re into the history of that era this is a must stay place. It’s not luxury but that’s not the point. All the staff were incredibly friendly, one even giving me a lift to a local restaurant after his shift. The breakfast was delicious and the location is perfect. A real gem !!"

"Great views of Lake Sevan, fascinating architecture, close walk to the Sevan Monastery which also has nice nighttime views of stars and a 360 view of the area. Also, you can get to a swimming area in about 5 minutes walking, and there's a ping pong table!"
