Amberd Hotel

"Bellissima posizione con vista sulla natura circostante. Camera piccolina dotata di tutti i comfort e con un bagno molto spazioso. I servizi offerti sono molteplici e variegati: piscina esterna ed interna sono molto belle, così come sauna e bagno turco. All’interno della struttura è anche disponibile un ristorante dove abbiamo cenato la sera stessa spendendo cifre ragionevoli. Colazione ottima e molto abbondante."

"Nonostante non fosse necessaria per le temperature che che abbiamo incontrato, l’aria condizionata non funzionava per nulla. La nota meno positiva del nostro soggiorno è stata sicuramente l’accoglienza del personale che lasciava parecchio a desiderare. Oltre a non parlare una singola parola di inglese (nemmeno in reception), quasi tutto lo staff è risultato parecchio antipatico e poco attento ai bisogni del cliente. Unica eccezione per lo staff del ristorante e della colazione Altro aspetto molto negativo è stata la gestione dei servizi offerti: per accedere alla piscina era necessario consegnare allo staff la propria pool card (consegnataci in fase di check in) in cambio di un asciugamano. Nella piscina interna , non c’era nessun membro del personale a controllare le pool card, che quindi venivano depositate dallo staff in box aperte al di fuori della piscina stessa. Una volta terminato il nostro bagno, ci siamo accorti che le nostre carte si trovavano in un box non corrispondente a quello del nostro numero di camera: lo staff non solo non ha saputo aiutarci, ma anzi ci ha accusato di voler rubare le pool card di altri (a che pro tra l’altro?). Per fortuna un ragazzo tedesco di origine armena ci ha aiutato con la traduzione, poiché anche in questo caso nessuno parlava una parola di inglese. Nella sala ricreativa c’erano un hockey da tavolo con disco parzialmente funzionante, un tavolo da Ping pong con pallina rotta e due tavoli da biliardo senza apparenti problemi."

"Everything was fine, very delicious, big variety, excellent service, staff was very friendly and helpful. The hospitality of the owner of the hotel was incredible. Live music in the restaurant was a pleasant bonus to our stay. Highly recommended this place!"

"Everything, from the rich breakfast to the sauna and pool. The view was amazing and the rooms very luxurious with a full mini bar, comfortable beds and even free fruits and coffee/tea supplies."

"I had an amazing stay at Amberd Hotel! Everything was absolutely perfect — from the warm hospitality to the top-quality facilities. I was celebrating my birthday, and the staff made it truly special with a lovely surprise and champagne in my room. The atmosphere, service, and comfort were all outstanding. Definitely a 10 out of 10 experience — highly recommended!"

"The location, as it's isolated and quiet (even if there is music near the pool). Food very tasty. (If you want drink, try natural juice or herbal tea, black coffee, but not other coffee). Great time at pool, especially since it wasn't weekend, so not crowded both open and closed pools."

"The views are amazing. It's a short drive from the hotel to Amberd Fortress, Kari Lake and Saghmosavank monastery on the foot of the Mount Aragats. The staff are very helpful. You can arrange transportation and tours at the front desk. The staff are very helpful. I don't think you'll find a better view anywhere in Armenia as far as I know."

"We are so happy we got a chance to stay at the Amberd hotel. The staff are so warm and welcoming and the view of mount Ararat is absolutely stunning. The spa is also excellent and offers great massages. We can’t wait to stay here again!"

"Great views at Ararat Mountain from room and restaurant. The room was comfortable, good shower and bath amenities. Complimentary fruits and sweets. Excellent place for relaxation, good starting point for Mt. Aragats, plenty of interesting sites around. Rich and tasty breakfast. Nice choice of wines for dinner. Unfortunately, we did not manage to try spa and swimming pool."
