"Frequentato da clienti internazionali, ho alloggiato in stanza con un ragazzo USA e due ragazze UK, molto gentili e simpatici. La ragazza della reception, che non è albanese, ha risposto alle mie domande e mi ha consentito di pagare in euro, anziché in lek. Ottima comunicazione in inglese con tutti. Colazione base, con qualcosa da mangiare e da bere, senza eccessi. Nel cortile esterno c'è un amplificatore per la musica (a volume soft), sdraio, tavoli e divanetti, per rilassarsi al sole, tavolo da ping pong (l'ostello fornisce le palline), mentre all'interno sono disponibili diverse chitarre, per allietare l'atmosfera. I punti turistici di Berat si possono raggiungere a piedi dall'ostello, se non si hanno problemi motori."

"E' un po' distante dal terminal dei bus, ma raggiungibile in autobus, con fermata nelle vicinanze. Come ogni ostello nel mondo, può essere rumoroso di notte, se qualcuno rientra, dopo aver bevuto un po' troppo. La via dove si trova è parallela al fiume, nella zona di Gorica e non è illuminata di notte, comunque nessun rischio. Ci sono ovunque cantieri edili, per opere in corso di svolgimento."

"Very clean and homely feeling in this place. The staff were all so lovely! Dorm Beds were comfortable with a curtain for privacy which is so nice! The front garden was beautiful and breakfast was always amazing"

"Maya Hostel is excellently located to be a short walk into town, as well as near the start of two different footpaths to both the castle and another amazing viewpoint over the town. It is also near lots of nice shops and restaurants. The staff are nice and helpful, the room was clean and spacious, and breakfast was delicious. The view from the balcony was also incredible. I highly recommend staying here when you are in Berat."

What made my stay unforgettable, though, were the people — I met some of the funniest and most interesting travelers here. Highly recommend it if you want comfort, cleanliness, and good company!"

"The volunteers were so friendly and welcoming. One of them arranged an early breakfast for me since my bus went at 08.00 and my cab came at 0730 so that was so nice of them, thank you so much really appreciate it. The hostel is clean and good location! 10/10"

"This is not the hostels fault! But at night it can be hard getting sleep if you are a light sleeper since dogs are barking outside and music plays in restaurants nearby. For me it was not a problem but another girl in my room had trouble falling asleep."
