Dala Wärdshus is beautifully located in the Hantverksbyn Village, 3,2 km from Rättvik and offers an incredible view over the impressive Lake Siljan. The guest rooms at Dala Wärdshus are located in small timber cottages with grass roofs and most have their own private porch, with lake views. Guests arriving by car can park conveniently right by the door. A lighter breakfast is always included. The restaurant serves classic Swedish delicacies and has a scenic outdoor terrace, an excellent choice for those warm summer days. The popular lunch buffet is offered daily from 11:00 to 14:30. The nearby handicraft store is open all year round and offers a wide assortment of souvenirs.

"Le casette con l’erba sul tetto erano molto suggestive, a breve distanza da Rattvik e Tallberg ( pochi minuti di auto); la struttura, per quanto abbastanza ampia, è monto tranquilla e silenziosa; ambienti interni al cottage accoglienti puliti e ben organizzati; bagno comodo e pulito; ampi spazi per gioco e passeggiate con il cane; colazione inclusa nel prezzo semplice ma completa; personale gentile e disponibile. ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliatissimo!"

"The lodge was in a fantastic location. Our room faced beautiful Lake Siljan and was less than a one-minute walk to the breakfast hall. The on-site café was convenient and stayed open until 10 PM. The lodge is also just a two-minute walk from a petrol station, which is ideal for those on a road trip. There’s a small gift shop connected to the reception area, perfect for souvenirs. Breakfast included halal-friendly and vegetarian options, and the host kindly asked about our dietary preferences in advance, which we really appreciated. The lodge is close to several attractions such as Dössberget, Långbryggan, Styggforsen, and Rättvik Church. It’s also only about 40 minutes from Mora, where you can stop for photos at Vasaloppet’s start and finish points, visit the Zorn Museum, and explore the charming town."
"One thing to note is that bedding and towels are not included in the room rate and need to be rented separately. While this may be a common practice for local guests, it was a bit unexpected for us as international travellers. That said, it didn’t significantly affect our overall enjoyable stay."

"Ein sehr gemütliches Zimmer, das wir bereits geheizt und beleuchtet vorfanden, alles war sauber. Wir hatten ein vielfältiges Angebot beim Frühstücksbuffet. Das Personal war super nett und der Service top. Trotz späterer Ankunft telefonische Erreichbarkeit und der Schlüssel war hinterlegt. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen, eine super Lage in einer traumhaften Anlage!"
