The Riverstone is Canterbury's only 5-star motel (awarded by Qualmark - the official NZ tourism quality assurance organisation). All accommodation is ensuite and we are only 20 minutes' drive from Christchurch Airport. Our rooms feature studios, suites and apartments with flat-screen TVs and well-appointed kitchenettes Guests at the The Riverstone can benefit from air-conditioned rooms with double glazed windows. All rooms have a shower and some have also a bath. Facilities include luggage storage and laundry services. The motel also provides rooms for guests with limited mobility. Rangiora is the gateway for the Waipara Valley’s vineyards and the popular zona termale destination of Hanmer Springs. Free private parking and free WiFi are available on site.

The cleanliness is like nothing we have ever experienced in a motel, our room had everything we needed. Handy to shops + a great selection of tea and coffee available for the morning. "My wife and I stayed for 5 nights and very much enjoyed our stay. the room was large comfortable and very clean and was more than adequate for our needs. We couldn’t ask for any more from a hotel. There was always plenty of parking and the location was awesome next to a bistro and supermarket. The guest laundry was great and useful for our length of stay. Bed was so comfy and room was quiet aswell. Charlotte and Mike are fantastic hosts And would cater to any guests needs. If I am back in rangiora I would definitely be returning."
