"The position is excellent. A pool overlooking the beach and steps directly onto the sand. And it is in the centre of the town. We were given an early check-in and the checkout time of 12pm, gives time for another swim in the ocean."

"There are limited hairdryers, which are kept at reception. When I wanted one, there weren't any available."

"Very clean, maids come every day. Comfortable, large bed. Excellent location- 2 min walk to ocean and central to everything. Great shower with hot water. Cute little balcony with chairs. Despite the language barrier, the staff was very willing to find ways to help us when needed. The rooftop bar is the best 360° view in town and amazing at sunset. Access to the pool is across the street, but so close that it didn't matter. The pool is on the beach, so you can watch the waves from in the pool. There's a convenient taxi stand right outside the hotel."

"Our ceiling fan had one setting that worked - insanely fast. May want to fix that. It did not affect us negatively."

"The location of this hotel is perfect. Ocean view balconies are great. The rooms are simple but very clean, ours had a fridge with freezer, which we appreciated and used daily. We were given fresh towels each day during our stay. We used the pool daily. Half of our stay, the pool was heated."

"Big families on weekends, noisy no access to pool (full of children). Television small, reception poor, limited English channels and audio very poor. Internet signal could have been stronger in room. Had to sit by door."

"This hotel is two buildings. The main building is six stories with some oceanview rooms, there is a rooftop bar that we were told was very nice, we did not see it ourselves. This building is not technically waterfront. Across a laneway is a smaller horseshoe shaped building that houses the outdoor pool and this building is beachfront. Clean rooms, friendly staff, nice pool, great sandy beach and perfect location in Barra. We spent a lot of time on the second and third floor beachfront decks after swimming and to watch the sunsets. Practice your travel Spanish before your vacation for the best experience."

"No coffee maker or fridge in our room, we later found out we could have requested them. I would have liked to have had music available in the pool area."
