"Location pazzesca sulle rive del Mekong, in un'isola che è tra gli ultimi paradisi in terra. La camera era una struttura molto basica, una stanza di travi di legno, con un bagno minuscolo, ovviamente che utilizzava l'acqua del fiume. Durante la stagione umida è caldissimo e il ventilatore era indispensabile, peccato che la presa non sia stabile e a volte si spegnesse. Tutto sommato, per quanto abbiamo pagato, e per soggiornare pochi giorni, va assolutamente bene. La colazione non è inclusa e costa quasi quanto la stanza (inoltre abbiamo aspettato quasi 50 minuti per un piatto di pane burro e marmellata), quindi non conviene. Bisogna necessariamente affittare una bicicletta (2 euro al giorno) per muoversi e raggiungere i ristoranti e i cafè delle due isole (Don Det e Don Khong) infatti intorno all'hotel non c'è nulla e per questo è davvero un incanto."

"Le pareti sono molto sottili quindi se i vicini di camera sono rumorosi si sente tutto. Dal lavandino usciva pochissima acqua."

"La signora che gestisce la struttura è di una gentilezza unica, ti coccola e ti consente di entrare nel vero spirito del posto e cucina divinamente. Mi sono sentita a casa e leggere sul patio nell'amaca vista fiume è qualcosa che ti porterai dentro per tutta la vita. I servizi sono effettivamente molto semplici (ma è il bello della struttura)"

"Friendly, clean, good value for money and nice rooms right on the river with hammocks to relax in. The owner was great in arranging trips and onward travel and was really helpful."

"On arrival at the ferry port at Don Det it is a bit of a walk to South Don Det, about 45 mins. When I did it it was a beautiful afternoon and a lovely slow walk - but you might want to hire a bike near the ferry port. That said the owner sorted me out with a bike at the guesthouse so all was good, but you need one to get around. The food is good but the menu is limited."

"The room was great - big and comfortable and private bathroom. Nicer veranda to sit and watch the sunrise over the river. Can swim in the river there too. Just a short cycle into Don Det centre and Don Khone"

"If you are a walker like myself distances are quite far. You really need to hire a bike to get around."
