"Everything perfect. Clean rooms, good breakfast and very nice atmosphere. Danny, Linda, Modou and the whole staff do everything to help you to enjoy your stay at the best. Modou can take you to visit the main attractions of the area and he's always available. We also enjoyed a nice evening with Danny and Linda at a dancing show in a local school. We couldn't have stayed better and safer. Highly recommended"

"The staff was amazing especially Mariama and the other girl who cook breakfast. It has a fan. Super clean. Room was big and the bathroom too. 15 walking from the beach. Managed by a local family and we did a tour to the market to buy groceries."

"Friendliness and professionalism. Always at hand to help. Guests are given options on what they want for breakfast. The staff respects your privacy, and they help in every way possible . It's a family place away from home."

"What this property offers that a large majority of others do not- here you will have amazing water pressure. If you’ve ever stayed in Gambia you know this is very common complaint but not here at all. Another plus with this home is the power. Even a light rain shower throws power off and here they have a generator that they are excellent about starting if they power does go out. Free WiFi was very good. Breakfast - the fried eggs were so good we ordered them almost every day. Home is kept very clean. Staff was very helpful. Location was off a few streets from the main road but we had no complaints walking to the beach or restaurants"
"Only complaint was guests do not have a key for the front gate. Most times when you knock someone came but if it’s late at night you have to wake someone up and we felt bad having to do that . AC is an extra charge and that’s understandable"

"The Compound was a great stay! First off, the staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly. Modou, the main manager, picked us up and guided us through the property despite it being so late at night. Throughout our stay we were able to cook and eat with the other employees of the Compound. We loved that opportunity to see and try all the Gambian foods we wanted to get that weren’t available in restaurants. The accommodation was cozy and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and water for the showers was hot. Pretty close to the beaches if you don’t mind a short walk. But can also easily take a taxi too. We loved our stay!"
